- What is a credit?
- One credit equals 1 cent (€1 = 100 credits). It covers an action that consumes an external API: LinkedIn scraping, email/phone enrichment, AI analysis. The credit cost varies by data type.
- Any commitment?
- None. No subscription, top up on demand. Your credits remain available as long as your account is active.
- How is Apex Machina different from a CRM like HubSpot or Pipedrive?
- Apex Machina is a prospecting tool (an ORM) that handles the pre-deal stage: ICP targeting, enrichment, first touch. A traditional CRM handles the post-deal stage: pipeline, deals, contracts. The two are complementary: Apex Machina feeds your CRM, it does not replace it.
- How much does a professional email lookup cost?
- 15 credits, i.e. €0.15. If no email is found you are not charged: credits are automatically refunded to your account.
- Do my credits expire?
- No. Your credits stay available as long as your account is active. No deadline, no monthly allowance to burn.
- Is LinkedIn scraping legal in France and the EU?
- Yes, within the GDPR framework and for B2B prospecting purposes. Apex Machina uses public sources (open LinkedIn profiles), with opt-out, EU hosting, audited subprocessors and an up-to-date processing register. See the privacy policy for the legal basis details.
- Which enrichment providers do you use?
- Apify for LinkedIn scraping, FullEnrich for emails and phones, OpenRouter for AI (Haiku and Sonnet models). All subprocessors are listed in the privacy policy, with their jurisdictions and GDPR safeguards.
- Can I get an invoice for my company?
- Yes. Every credit purchase generates a downloadable PDF invoice from your account. French VAT is applied according to your status (sole trader, VAT-liable company, intra-EU with valid VAT number).
